Turing Magazine

Touring, having the same age as the Republic, was first published in French on August 1, 1930, and is also one of the longest-running magazines in Turkey. At first, Turing Magazine had articles with a focus on history and culture as a source, and later articles with legal themes such as tourism and traffic legislation were added as other sections. Today, the Magazine is published once every three months in Turkish on different travel writings from Turkey and the world, architecture, nostalgia automobile series, writings of automobile promotions, talks with the members of the association, news on Touring services, culture and art themed writings, and pages of English abstracts. Turing Magazine is sent to the members of Touring and to the periodical departments of all universities and libraries as well as public institutions for free.

Turing Magazine was published by Reşit Saffet Atabinen, founding president, from 1930 to his death in 1965 as 278 issues. In the 45-year period from 1965 to 2010, Turing Magazine was only published for 97 issues, and it was unfortunately either not published in some years or it was published as one or two issue. Turing Magazine, whose publication life was suspended for more than two years in 2010, met with its readers again in 2013 with its 376th issue. Turing Magazine, having 29 issues since 2013, is published every three months uninterruptedly.

Turing Magazine published regularly from 2013 to 2020 with 5000 copies quarterly and 145,000 copies in total, is delivered free of charge to the members of Touring, students, all libraries, universities, relevant public institutions and organizations, and enthusiasts.
