Folkloric Doll Making
This art carries the garments, traditions and customs of the humans lived in the past to today. Previously in Anatolia and other regions, dolls made from clothes or wood had assumed professional making techniques thanks to this.

About The Trainer

Selma Kadriye Yurtlu was born in 15.12.1961. She graduated from Edirne Highschool in 1979 and she took Miniature and Gilding course in Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine Medical History and Deontology. She was the runner-up in "National Doll Contest". She makes her products in Istanbul Handicrafts Center and informs the visitors on "Folkloric Doll Making". She joined many different exhibitions and seminars.
