REGULATION ON INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE The sales of A series of International Driving Licenses has been ceased as of 15.11.2006. The new edition of documents was drawn up as series B. Furthermore, some improvements were made within the color and paper quality of document and the signature of our new Chairman of Board of Directors was used on front cover. REGULATION ON INTERNATIONAL VEHICLE DOCUMENT The sales of former edition of International Vehicle Document has been ceased as of 15.11.2006. Some alterations that don’t exist on the former document are included on the cover of documents which are currently in use. And also, starting from the same date, security hologram and embossed stamp implementations was put in practice with respect of this document. Toll booths will accept only OGS (Remote payment system) and KGS (Toll pay system with special magnetic cards) at the Bosphorus Bridge.
Cash payments will be accepted only at the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.
This document is produced to permit Turkish registered
vehicles to travel abroad and it is valid for 6
months or a one year
period.
In order to obtain this card, the original Registration
Document of the vehicle and a photocopy of the owner’s
identity card are normally sufficient.
A Proxy-ownership document witnessed by a notary is required
if the car is to be driven abroad by an individual other
than the registered owner.
In the case of company cars, if the owner or an authorized
company official drives, a signature authorization document
and identity card are required. If someone other than
these drives the vehicle abroad, then a Proxy-ownership
document is required in addition to the above documents.
